When I look at the graphs and charts about climate, economy and all of that, when I seriously contemplate it on a physical and mathematical level, I get a sort of angst that is even stronger than contemplating my own death. It is unbearable. I'd like to think there is hope, but when you look at how people behave, there is no hope at all. People can be incredibly good and altruistic for a while, but then self-interest prevails. We've seen that during the pandemic.
