The more I think about it, I can't escape the conclusion that we need not only to vote (that won't change much) but run for office. There are too few of us to make change on the ground level (the majority is idle, they just consume), so we need to get ourselves into the control rooms of society. My only concern is that behind the curtains the game is so dirty and violent that an honest and well intended person wouldn't be able to take the pressure. Left and right might quarel on TV, but both will gladly join forces to destroy anyone who quiestions the Status quo (from which they benefit).
