Covid-19 is a Like Jet Fighter

Imagine for a second that we discover a way to travel through time and we decide to show those poor people from the past who’s the boss. I know, I know, it is ridiculous but stick with me for a second. To make it more interesting we don’t go after rural medieval peasants but we pick the best of the best, something like Florence or Venice during the renaissance, the richest of the rich, when ego and self confidence rose to the maximum of that period. And to make the point more clear we don’t even send a whole army, just an ordinary jet fighter. That’s it. One jet fighter.

I bet those poor souls wouldn’t know what hit them. What would definitely seem like a total apocalypse to them wouldn’t even make our pilot sweat. The whole thing would be over in a matter of minutes.

Get this: even if we gave them an advance notice 6-months ahead, it still wouldn’t matter. Even 6 years wouldn’t make a difference. What would they do? Get more wax to burn? Make better swords? Slightly longer arrows? There is absolutely nothing these people could realistically do to pose our jet fighter even a little bit of a challenge. They could call out the smartest men of the period, people like Leonardo da Vinci and alike, throw all the money at them, and it still wouldn’t amount to anything substantial. This operation would
