Perhaps I should bring to your attention the story that is currently unfolding in Croatia. A pregnant woman just discovered that her child/fetus has (a fatal) brain tumor and all doctors in the country refuse to give her an abortion, supposedly because she's past the 10-week time window. However, the fact that Croatia is quite a far-right country might play a part too.

So this woman decided to perform the abortion in another country, but that too has some legal issues attached to it, and now this became a huge deal in the country. There are people protesting and whatnot.
