My mother suffers from VaD and it is terrible to watch it. Are there any indications that the vaccine might be effective in slowing down progress of the already developed disease? (I do remember my mum having herpes on her lips, if that's relevant). How about for me? I did have herpes zoster on my chest a few years ago.
