Just yesterday I did a re-scan with Sony A7riii + NLP of a colour negative which I had already scanned automatically with Epson V850. And I must say I have mixed feelings about it. Epson can be amazing if it nails the sharpness (which it rarely does). On the other hand, the camera has no issues with focus, but then the colour conversion got a lot trickier even with NLP. Anyways, colour negatives are in their own league of complexity and would deserve another article entirely. This was more about BW films.
