I've had these two voices in my head ever since I can remember. But there are advantages to it. I deliberately cultivated them in my years as a teacher and my pupils loved the output. All performing arts or activities in which one is addressing "a crowd" can benefit from that more of thinking. Organic conversations, not so much. :)
