May I print that on a million t-shirts and throw them out of an airplane because truer words have rarely been spoken! It’s brilliant, Anna!

For years I hypothesized that bipartisan polarisation is a runaway process that will end up like the monarchies. They still exist, but only as a tourist attraction and a way to sell gossip magazines to (lonely) middle-aged women. In the same way, “representative” politics will still be there, but to fill another void of gossip, this time for the (alcoholic) men in bars and pubs.

Hopefully, the rest of us will leave that behind and find our ways of self-organization.
