I think a more appropriate metaphor would be that TikTok is like crack cocaine, rather than LSD. Psychedelics are for the most part self-limitng substances, they almost never make you wanna do more. In most cases they infuse you with fear and respect. Plus they open your eyes, expand your mental field, give you insights into religion and philosophy, which is why governments fear them. TikTok and all social media is, again, rather like its opposite.
