I do agree with the point you're making but I still think there is place for both kinds of creation. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with reactionary media or creator economy. MrBeast's version is something that comes and goes, the original series operate on a longer timescale. As long as we can have both (in a balanced proportion), I'm fine with it. It is actually beneficial for everyone; conventional production, youtubers and us, the viewers. But it would be very suffocating to have just one of them.
