I absolutely agree with the underlying point that good intention can be weaponised and profited upon. But that doesn't make them bad per se. Conserving water is a good thing, choosing localy grown vegetables over meat is a good thing, cycling instead of driving a car is also a very good thing (etc), no matter what it is being used for. Why? Because even billionaires eventually come and go, but the planet is here to stay. So trust data and do what's right.
