Great article. I am experimenting with focal lengths as well. Recently I purchased 65 mm from the new Sigma i-series and it is very difficult to get used to. At first, I thought it will be more like "a longer" Nifty Fifty, but with use I realised its character is much closer to a "wider 85mm."

Of course, it also depends on the user.
