Capitalism is a machine that is extremely good at eating the planet and shitting technological miracles on the other end. It is the most efficient tool so far. Communism was good, but it took a lot of brute force from above. Capitalism seems to work much more effortlessly; there is little need for coercion and force. It seems much more effortless. The problem is that we became addicted to all the pleasures it can produce (or rather promise) and we don't know when and where to stop.
