Absolutely true—everything you say. I’m one of those people who sit on the floor in front of a painting. :) I would add another tip: if a painting doesn’t resonate with you, don’t dwell on it. Just move on—perhaps you’ll connect with it another time, or maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.I usually move quickly through a gallery, but when a certain piece intrigues me, I give it my full attention. For me, it’s either ignore or fully commit.
